AZU TIWALINE
FRANCE / TUNISIA
Biography
Azu Tiwaline is a Franco-Tunisian producer who brings the El Djerid desert and her Tunisian heritage into dialogue with the spatial depth of dub and the drive of techno. Raised between cultures, with a childhood in Ivory Coast and a Tunisian father, she builds slow, hypnotic music around North African rhythms, scales and instruments, with a deep focus on texture, space and the senses.
Her debut album Draw Me A Silence, released on Marseille’s I.O.T Records, drew wide attention across the electronic scene. She has since joined Bristol’s Livity Sound, where her EP Magnetic Service with Cinna Peyghamy was met with international acclaim.
Moving between hybrid live and DJ sets, she has played Dimensions, Freerotation, Unsound Adelaide and MUTEK, alongside mixes for Dekmantel and Crack Magazine. In November 2026 she makes her Circle Of Live debut at Konzerthaus Berlin.

On November 21st 2026 Azu Tiwaline makes her Circle Of Live debut, joining Dorisburg, one of our most regular collaborators, and co-founder Sebastian Mullaert as they step into the flow of freeform improvisation at Konzerthaus Berlin. The evening opens with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, conducted by Ilan Volkov, performing Stravinsky’s Le sacre du printemps. After the interval, Circle Of Live takes over: three artists, one room and no plan beyond creating a moment that will never happen again. The closing concert of NOW HERE, a collaborative festival by Konzerthaus Berlin with Detect Sounds and IÇ IÇE, the festival for new Anatolian music.
